Buildings

What we look after

Offices, clinics, schools, retail and light-industrial units — the buildings where a comfort complaint becomes a work order and then a repeat visit.

Rooftop units

Repair, replacement and seasonal service for packaged and split systems.

Planned maintenance

Filters, belts, coils, drains and economisers on a schedule, logged per unit.

Air balancing

Measured CFM room by room, dampers set, results written down.

Tenant improvements

Ducts, diffusers and zones reworked when a suite changes.

Controls

Schedules that match occupancy, with overrides staff can use.

Equipment rooms

Dedicated cooling for rooms that run warm all year.

Airflow check

Is that room getting the air it was designed for?

Comfort complaints are usually airflow, not capacity. If you have the design figure from the drawings and a measured reading at the diffuser, the gap between them tells you whether to balance, repair ducts or look at the equipment.

Questions

Before you call

What is air balancing?

Measuring the airflow at every diffuser and return and setting the dampers so each room gets the air it was designed for. Our airflow check compares design and measured figures.

One suite always complains. Is the unit too small?

Often not. We measure supply, return and static pressure first — a closed damper explains more complaints than undersized equipment does.

Do you work on homes as well as buildings?

Yes. The same instruments and the same written prices, in a house.

When is a balance report worth it?

After a tenant improvement, after equipment is replaced, or when a building has been complained about for years and nobody has measured it.

Will I get a price before work starts?

Yes. Repairs are priced in writing after diagnosis, and projects are proposed in writing.
